Job Description

Role purpose- Foster an inclusive and positive learning atmosphere, establish realistic academic expectations, and collaborate with the vocational facilitators to ensure a comprehensive educational and training experience. Oversee classroom environment, understanding the unique needs of each child, and implementing vocational strategies in accordance with the Sols ARC framework. Set challenging and realistic expectations to inspire students to achieve their best. Encourage the integration of students with disabilities into mainstream activities, promoting inclusivity. Maintain professionalism when working with students with exceptional educational needs. Collaborate effectively within a team to address the diverse needs of students, ensuring a supportive learning environment. Work closely with families to optimise educational outcomes for students, fostering strong partnerships. Ensure a safe and secure learning environment for all students. Utilise research and instructional data to develop and implement Education Plans (EPs) for students. Demonstrate leadership by overseeing and supporting special education teachers in achieving EP goals. Stay updated on the latest educational methods through continuous professional development. Adhere to all relevant laws and regulations governing special education.
