Position - Head Sourcing & Purchase (S&P) Qualification BE Mechanical / Industrial Production / Automobile / Experience 15+ Years Location - Jigani Industrial Area, Bangalore Exposure to Elevator / Textile / HVAC Industry will be an added advantage Skill set / Minimum 5 years experience in Sourcing / Procurement of Steel, Aluminum Sheets & Extrusions, Sheet Metal Components, Machining Items, Castings & Forgings, Fasteners, Hardware & Engineering Items Responsibilities Overall In charge for Sourcing & Purchasing Generate and implement efficient Sourcing and Purchase management strategies Analyze and calculate costs of Procurement,Inventory and suggest methods to decrease the expenditure Monitoring & presentation of monthly KPIs to Senior Management Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency Ensure On time deliveries of High Quality products from Suppliers Perform cost and scenario analysis, and bench marking Estimate risks and apply risk minimizing techniques Personal Development of Junior Team Members Requirements Familiarity with Steel markets, Costing of Mechanical & Engineering Items Familiarity with Sourcing, Imports, Inventory & Vendor Management and relevant procedures Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement Strong Analytical and Leadership skills Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships Should posses expertise in Windows Office System Applications & ERP Comfortable with collecting, analyzing and interpreting data Exposure to ISO 9000 & ISO 14000 QMS Procedures Excellent communication & presentation skills in English Any other additional skill set will be an added advantage Sowmya Samvith Technologies 9844188855
