Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement quality control systems and processes for Galvanised/Aluzinc, Continuous galvanising line and Color coated steel production lines. Manage and supervise quality inspections, audits and product certifications. Identify and address potential quality risks and issues proactively. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency. Manage the implementation of product specifications and standards. Process & Product Quality: Co-ordinate with production teams to ensure quality standards are met. Lead root cause analysis of quality issues and implement corrective actions. Oversee testing, inspection and acceptance procedures for finished products. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all equipment and processes comply with the applicable regulations and safety standards. Continuously assess and recommend process improvements to enhance product quality. Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records and documentation. Prepare and present reports on quality performance and issues. Cross functional collaboration: Co-ordinate with production teams to ensure quality standards are met. Work closely with other departments, such as engineering, production and operations, to ensure quality is integrated into all processes. Managerial Competencies: Lead and manage the quality assurance team, providing guidance, training and development opportunities. Motivate and empower team members to achieve quality goals. Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the QA team and with other departments. Technical Competencies: Strong knowledge of steel production processes, specifically for GI/GL, CGL, and Color coated lines. Familiarity with industry standards and certifications (ISO, ASTM, JIS, etc.). Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision - making abilities. • Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
