Job Description

As the Head of Operations, you will oversee and manage the entire production process of our cement manufacturing facility. This is a leadership role where you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and cost-effective production of high-quality cement. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Strategy: Lead the operations team and oversee all aspects of cement production, including raw material handling, kiln operations, and product output. Develop and implement operational strategies to meet production goals, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs. Formulate and execute plans to ensure smooth operations while maintaining safety and environmental standards. Manage production schedules, capacity planning, and resource allocation. Production Management: Supervise the entire manufacturing process from raw material sourcing to the final product delivery. Ensure the plant operates within established parameters to produce high-quality cement in the most efficient manner. Optimize production workflows and ensure adherence to quality control processes and standards. Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective measures to minimize downtime and improve output. Team Management: Manage a large team of technical and operational staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and implement training programs to ensure skill development within the team. Maintain high levels of employee engagement and safety consciousness. Process Improvement & Innovation: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the productivity, safety, and sustainability of operations. Monitor and evaluate new technologies and innovations to improve the manufacturing process. Implement best practices in the cement industry to achieve operational excellence. Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets for operations, ensuring cost control and financial efficiency. Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor production performance and make informed decisions. Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including safety, environmental, and quality standards. Promote and enforce a culture of safety across all areas of operations, ensuring employees adhere to safety protocols. Desired Candidate Profile: Experience: 25+ years of hands-on experience in cement manufacturing operations, including leadership roles. Educational Qualification: B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Skills: Extensive knowledge of cement manufacturing processes and equipment. Proven experience in managing large-scale operations and cross-functional teams. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Expertise in cost management, process optimization, and quality control. Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement in manufacturing operations.
