Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for gaining a comprehensive understanding of the Indian Vertical Transportation (VT) market. Your main objectives will include promoting TV SD's local VT profile, generating sales, developing business by building relationships with customers and regulators, setting up and leading professional teams in strategic locations across different states of India, and ensuring service delivery in line with TV SD's management guidelines and Quality Management System. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Strategy Development:** - Get acquainted with the customer, competitor, authority, and regulation VT landscape in India. - Provide market insights to update and refine the VT strategy for India. - **Business Development and Sales:** - Develop a business strategy to implement the growth plan provided by BU LCC and TV SD South Asia. - Position TV SD as a leading VT authority in India. - Identify sales leads through networking, industry observation, and research. - Manage customer relationships effectively, understanding their needs and constraints. - Expand the business by growing the customer base and ensuring customer retention. - Prepare sales presentations and materials in collaboration with the BU LCC and marketing department. - Coordinate with global VT experts for joint customer presentations. - Collaborate with other TV SD subsidiaries and monitor industry events for participation opportunities. - **Operations and Resources:** - Ensure smooth operations in compliance with TV SD's QMS and to customer satisfaction. - Hold P&L responsibility for TV SD's VT activities in India. - Prepare progress reports and manage resources efficiently. - Recruit, develop, and lead VT experts, providing necessary training and authorizations. - Manage authorizations internally as per TV SD's QMS. **Qualifications Required:** - Integrative personality with strong leadership skills - Excellent interpersonal skills with a Go-to-market attitude - Drive for shaping business development and sales activities - Strong verbal and written communication skills in local languages and English (min. B2 level) - Good presentation, strategic, and analytical thinking skills - Excellent telephone and MS Office software skills - Mobility, flexibility, and willingness for business trips in the region - Team player In addition to the above, a basic knowledge of lift technology and industry, as well as familiarity with inspections and certifications of VT, would be beneficial. Upon joining, further training will be provided by TV SD. **Education Requirements:** - Bachelor's degree in Engineering (electrical, mechanical) - Master's degree, particularly a business-oriented one (MBA), would be advantageous.,
