Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive sourcing strategy that ensures access to high-quality materials and finished products.
• Conduct global market research to identify potential suppliers, manufacturers, and artisans who meet our stringent quality and ethical standards.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve the best quality, prices, and lead times.
• Collaborate with the design and product development teams to source materials and products that are in line with the brand's aesthetic and quality expectations.
• Implement and manage a robust supplier evaluation and performance monitoring system.
• Ensure compliance with trade regulations, sustainability practices, and ethical sourcing standards.
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including quality control, shipping, and logistics.
• Build and maintain a flexible and responsive supply chain capable of adapting to changing market demands and scaling with the company's growth.
• Recruit, lead & develop a sourcing team, setting clear goals and providing guidance to achieve departmental objectives.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and innovative sourcing strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; master's degree is a plus point.
• 5-10 years of experience in sourcing or procurement, with a significant focus on luxury goods or home furnishings.
• Strong network of contacts within the luxury goods supply chain.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Knowledge of trade & customs regulations, and shipping logistics.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Proficiency in sourcing-related software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in multiple languages being an asset.
• Willingness to travel to visit suppliers and attend trade events.
