Head of RF Technologies

As a Semiconductor Integration Manager at Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL), you will have the exciting opportunity to be part of a greenfield venture of the Tata Group, specializing in manufacturing precision components and building India's first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. Your role will involve integration responsibilities for RF-CMOS and RF-SOI technologies, adding features to existing technologies, creating new technologies to enhance performance, and leading Wide Band Gap RF technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Design and layout test chips for device/technology optimization, reliability assessment, and SPICE model extraction. - Manage end-to-end project management from project justification to final qualification and yield ramp, ensuring desired performance, quality, yield, schedule, and cost targets are achieved. - Collaborate with the Design enablement team and CAD partners to develop a user-friendly Process Design Kit (PDK) with a well-characterized toolset. - Engage with university, research lab, and commercial entities to drive a world-class technology roadmap. - Lead a cross-functional team across diverse geographies, building strong customer relationships based on confidence in TEPL's technical capabilities. - Conduct competitor benchmarking and own the technology roadmap. - Deliver presentations to internal and customer senior executives. - Travel occasionally for business purposes. Qualifications: - M.S or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent. - Profound understanding of CMOS (including SOI), SiGe BICMOS, RF power devices, and technology integration. - Deep knowledge of RF technology parameters and figures of merit with a proven track record in volume manufacturing. - Ability to work with designers, modeling teams, and customers to design and characterize basic circuits and circuit elements/devices. - Track record of publications and patents related to semiconductor technologies. - Understanding of key modules in RF technologies and emerging RF standards. - Experience in leading cross-functional teams to achieve project completion within timeline and cost targets. - Strong teamwork, innovation, and competitive mindset. Desired Experience Level: - Minimum 15 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. - Proven success in developing new technologies for high volume production. - Strong problem-solving skills using design of experiments and analytical tools.
