Head Of Purchasing

As a Purchase Head, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the procurement activities for our Data Center Services. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing effective procurement strategies, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services required for our Data Center Operations. You will be expected to collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as IT, operations, and finance teams, to identify and prioritize procurement needs. Additionally, monitoring market trends, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with relevant procurement policies and regulations will be part of your key responsibilities. Your expertise in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within the Data Center Services industry, will be invaluable. Strong negotiation and contract management skills, along with in-depth knowledge of procurement best practices and market trends, are essential for success in this role. Your ability to analyze key procurement metrics and report to management, as well as your proficiency in using procurement software and tools, will be critical. Furthermore, you should have a Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, with a master's degree considered a plus. A minimum of 15 years of relevant industry experience, including at least 5 years in a Data Centre Company, is required. Experience in a Technology company with turnovers of 200 Crs & above, along with a strong sense of integrity, is highly desirable.
