Key Responsibilities: 1) Finalize procurement department organization structure and roles and responsibilities of the department employees. 2) Prepare daily management reporting template and put into execution on the day to day basis 3) Negotiate item rate contracts with suppliers and confirm on best supplier list. 4) Put necessary measures in place to showcase improvement in cost margins. These improvements need to be documented and showcased to management. 5) Ensure that there is control in expired and near expiry goods process. Control of inventory management to reduce shortage and excess of goods at clinic level. 6) Checking and Approving all Purchase Orders before management approval 7) Tracking inventory levels at warehouse and clinic level 8) Managing the Threshold and Re-order quantities and coordinating their changes with management 9) Auditing products received from Suppliers. 10) Ensuring pharmacy protocols and FDA compliances are in order at all locations 11) Checking and ensuring all registers maintained at Pharmacies are in order 12) Providing a review of all pharmacy and warehouse staff at the time of increment 13) Managing day to day operations of all procurement related matters 14) Ensuring all pharmacy staff are up to date with FDA matters Qualifications and Experience: Education: Bachelors / Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Healthcare Management, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably within the medical, healthcare, or clinical domain . Strong understanding of medical product procurement, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and clinical equipment. Experience negotiating contracts with healthcare suppliers. Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to medical equipment and supplies. Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills. Detail-oriented with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to analyze data and generate reports for decision-making. Knowledge of medical/clinical supply chain management. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. Preferred: Experience in the procurement of medical devices, laboratory equipment, or pharmaceuticals. Certification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related fields (e.g., CIPS).
