Job Description

Delivery Lead Purpose of Role : Providing overall responsibility of our Clients Project Management delivery capability across multiple projects in accordance to project scope and our clients corporate governance. Main Tasks and Responsibilities Operational • Provides senior level resolution to customers on project related issues • Responsible for coaching the customer and the Our Client project teams through the project lifecycle in attaining the objectives of scope, quality, budget and timeline • Identifies and mitigates risks on all projects • Ideally undertake the role of PM on at least one project (e.g. BAU) • Responsible for the timely recruitment and training of PMs. Guide team technically and business perspective with the ability to work on ground. • Responsible for the appropriate processes, policies and procedures being applied to projects (e.g. Agile techniques) • Responsible for ensuring project status reports are issued to customers in accordance with expectations and are of appropriate quality. • Perform the role of a conduit between the Project Managers and the Product team (specifically the Product Managers) to ensure that Project Managers are fully aware of the Product Roadmap and understand the implication of each new key feature. • Promote the development and use of re-usable PM tools and practices • Foster continual process improvement Leadership • Motivation and support of Project Managers and their delivery teams • Leading and mentoring of Project Managers to promote and develop strong project management expertise and practises across Our Client’s professional services • Protecting project budgets by adhering to project scope and ensuring solutions are appropriate and efficient • Reviews project estimates and revenue forecasts • Supporting the pre-sales team to create project proposals as required Customer Service • Contributing towards long-term business relationships between Our Client and customers • Promoting Our Client’s products and solutions to Customers when required and internally within the Project Management practice. Compliance • Reviewing solutions for compliance to product architecture and documenting outcomes • Supporting the internal quality and control requirements defined by company policy • To abide to the Compliance Policies and Procedures of the Company. Occupational H&S • Take reasonable care of your own and other people’s Health & Safety in the workplace. • Report hazards in your work or in your work environment that may be putting your or anyone else’s Health & Safety at risk Additional Tasks • This role entails both domestic and international travel • In addition to this you are required to carry out any other duties as reasonably requested by your manage Person Specification Experience / Knowledge • Minimum 15 years’ experience in technical leadership of large implementation projects • Enterprise solutions in software development • SDLC and Project Methodologies • Industry knowledge in Software and Utilities Personal Attributes • High energy level and work ethic • Attention to detail and complex problem solving • Customer focused • Mentorship and coaching Qualifications / Education • BE / BTech Specialized Skills • Software Project Management experience • People management skills • Full awareness and knowledge of the Our Client Job Descriptions for all Professional Services staff. Detailed understanding of the SDLC and each of the roles and responsibilities associated with every member of a project team
