Position Summary
The
Head of Marketing
will be the driving force behind NxtWave’s growth, brand visibility, and customer engagement. This leadership role demands a
strategic thinker with deep executional expertise
across
ATL (Above the Line)
and
BTL (Below the Line)

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Marketing Leadership
- Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that strengthen brand positioning and drive lead generation.
- Lead ATL and BTL marketing campaigns, ensuring synergy across digital, traditional, and on-ground channels.
- Advise leadership on marketing trends, innovations, and emerging opportunities within the EdTech ecosystem.
- Brand Management
- Define, evolve, and protect NxtWave’s brand identity and communication tone across all touchpoints.
- Create high-impact storytelling and campaigns that emotionally resonate with learners and parents.
- Leverage market research and analytics to refine brand messaging, audience segmentation, and positioning.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing team across creative, digital, and performance marketing.
- Establish a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
- Define clear KPIs and regularly track performance to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Budget & Resource Management
- Build and manage the marketing budget with a focus on ROI and frugal innovation.
- Optimize spend allocation across campaigns, channels, and initiatives.
- Track financial efficiency and performance of all campaigns through data-driven reporting.
- Integrated Campaign Execution
- Design and execute cross-platform campaigns blending digital media, performance marketing, events, PR, and partnerships.
- Oversee creatives, copy, and media planning to ensure cohesive execution and strong conversion outcomes.
- Continuously test, analyze, and refine campaign strategies for improved performance.
- Market & Competitor Intelligence
- Stay ahead of market trends, user insights, and competitor actions to anticipate changes in the industry.
- Use insights to develop proactive strategies for market differentiation and positioning.
- Innovation & Problem Solving
- Foster a data-first, experimentation-driven mindset within the marketing organization.
- Encourage innovation through pilot projects and bold campaign experimentation.
- Promote frugal yet high-impact marketing practices that deliver measurable results.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
Experience:
- 10+ years in marketing leadership roles, with extensive experience in ATL & BTL campaign management.
- Proven success in brand growth, lead generation, and performance marketing in EdTech, consumer tech, or B2C sectors.
- Experience leading large, cross-functional marketing teams and external agency partnerships.
Skills & Competencies:
- Deep understanding of digital marketing, branding, and media planning.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities.
- Proven ability to lead with empathy, motivate teams, and build scalable systems.
