Role & responsibilities

Job Summary

The Head of Marketing will drive admissions and brand positioning for a multi-disciplinary college offering B.Tech, MBA, BBA, BCA & BPT programs. This leadership role requires strong expertise in student recruitment across technical, management, and healthcare programs, along with exceptional digital marketing, branding, corporate linkages, and PR capabilities. The candidate must have a deep understanding of the North India education market, competitive dynamics, and lead conversion strategies for diverse academic programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Marketing & Multi-Program Branding
  • Develop and execute marketing and branding strategies for diverse programs: Engineering (B.Tech), Management (MBA/BBA), BCA and Allied Health Sciences (BPT).
  • Position each program uniquely based on market demand, career outcomes, accreditation, faculty strength, and industry relevance.
  • Design targeted campaign strategies for undergraduate vs. postgraduate segments
  • Build a unified institutional brand while promoting specialized departmental strengths and flagship programs.
  • Digital Marketing, Lead Generation & CRM
  • Lead paid marketing campaigns for program-specific admissions across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.
  • Drive optimized lead funnels for all courses using CRM, landing pages, WhatsApp automation, remarketing, tele-counseling, and drip campaigns.
  • Manage agencies for SEO/SEM, performance marketing, web content, digital creatives, and photography/video storytelling.
  • Ensure the website communicates program-wise advantages (placements, labs, clinics, faculty, hospital tie-ups, industry mentorship, etc.).
  • Social Media & Content Strategy
  • Create segmented content storytelling:
  • Develop influencer collaborations, student ambassador programs, alumni success narratives, and placement reels.
  • Supervise daily content calendar, video marketing, student life & academic showcase.
  • Print, Outdoor & Medical/Technical Outreach
  • Manage national/regional print advertisements, coaching institute branding, and local campaign rollouts.
  • Plan hoardings, metro panels, bus branding, coaching center tie-ups, examination hub branding, and kiosk campaigns.
  • PR, Event Promotion & Academic Outreach
  • Build media relations to ensure coverage in education, technical publications.
  • Strengthen institutional reputation through thought leadership, academic partnerships, industry collaborations, and school engagement drives.
  • Budgeting, Analytics & ROI
  • Prepare and monitor course-wise marketing budgets based on lead targets, conversion rates, and seat availability.
  • Track ROI for each program using analytics tools (GA, Meta Suite, CRM, Call Center Reports, Conversion Metrics).
  • Generate dashboards for management: lead quality, program-wise conversion, competitor activity, brand visibility indicators.
  • Collaboration, Leadership & Team Management
  • Work with Deans/HoDs of Engineering, Management, IT & BPT programs to build targeted academic and placement-focused campaigns.
  • Train and mentor teams in digital marketing, admissions counseling, branding, telecalling, and creative production.
  • Build a performance and creativity-driven marketing culture.

  • 712 years of experience in higher education marketing; exposure to engineering + management + healthcare admissions will be an advantage.
  • Proven experience in performance marketing, CRM lead conversion, media buying, and academic branding.
