Job Description

Role & responsibilities Oversees all legal work done by the local legal team, advisory and risk mitigation activity: Serves as legal counsel; retains and manages relationships with external law firms; assesses risk of the companys activities and long-term plans; manages and hires talent for the Indian legal department; provides legal advice and may conduct sensitive internal investigations. Manages complex contracting: Ensures the effective management of non-routine and/or complex commercial agreements including negotiation, drafting, analysis and evaluation for risk, compliance, and legality. Manages legal aspects including documentation, contracts and other legal issues related to specific local corporate transactions. Advises on specific delegated corporate projects. Oversees the litigation and resolution of local claims and suits by and against the Companies in India; provides advisory support related to risk management and product liability, Oversees implementation of local compliance program and ensures local legal and statutory compliance and strict compliance of all business policies: Provides legal advises to the business on high risk or new compliance issues, including data privacy laws, antibribery, anti-corruption, antitrust. Preferred candidate profile 15+ Years of Experience required Minimum of 10 years of legal experience, ideally gained at a well-regarded law firm or in practice ,followed by senior in-house experience in a fast-paced organization of commensurate complexity and scale, preferably in the manufacturing or broader industrial sector Perks and benefits Best in the industry If you feel this is the role matching to your profile, kindly share your cv with below details - 1.
