Head of Information Technology

Required Education:

• B.Sc. (Computer Science) or B.E. / B. Tech/MCA or graduate in Science with Post Graduate in Systems Management & Administration

Principal Responsibilities

• Collaborate with corporate team regarding matters on policy change or for technical inputs
• Coordinate with the HIS team for any issues related to HIS
• Implement PACS on a timely basis
• Plan, procure, implement, manage and control all IT infrastructure
• Work with telecom service providers to provide mobile connections for corporate and other users, and for procurement of mobile phones
• Manage and control EPBAX and extension and coordinate with various telecom and Internet service providers
• Manage and control PA system interface and care for cabling and equipment for PA system
• Own responsibility for training Employees to ensure proper usage of IT infrastructure and HIS; address complaints and resolve problems as required
• Maintain AMC Cost (Annual Maintenance Contract) within budget
• Resolve customer queries and provide service to internal customers who have software/hardware related problems
• Plan, establish and control compliance for overall administration budget
• Short-list, train, schedule and optimize use of all members of staff (including contracted)
• Over-see intra-departmental communication; resolve disputes and/or operational working issues
• Assess and ensure performance level of staff on matters pertaining to efficiency etc
• Identify training needs and ensure continuing professional competence for self and staff 
• Appraise and address performance by rewarding or taking disciplinary actions as required
