Job Description


Position Overview:

Head of Human Resources (HR Head)

overseeing Training & Development (T&D), managing the Performance Management System (PMS), and supporting project coordination when required


Key Responsibilities-


Strategic HR Leadership

  • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with organizational goals and expansion plans.
  • Partner with leadership to drive organizational development, succession planning, and workforce scalability.

Talent Acquisition & Retention

  • Lead recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
  • Design and implement employee retention strategies to minimize attrition.
  • Drive career progression frameworks, mentorship programs, and succession planning.

Employee Engagement & Grievance Management

  • Foster a culture of transparency, trust, and accountability.
  • Establish and manage grievance redressal mechanisms to resolve conflicts fairly and promptly.
  • Serve as mediator in escalated employee relations matters.

Policy Enforcement & Compliance

  • Draft, update, and enforce HR policies in line with Indian labor laws.
  • Educate managers and employees on policy awareness and compliance.
  • Monitor adherence to leave, attendance, appraisal, and disciplinary policies.
  • Ensure legal and ethical handling of disciplinary actions.

Training & Development (T&D)

  • Oversee training needs identification, planning, and execution across departments.
  • Partner with Capability Building & Performance (CBP) division to deliver technical, leadership, and soft skills training.
  • Track training effectiveness through TalentLMS and other tools.

Performance Management System (PMS)

  • Manage company-wide PMS processes through Keka PMS.
  • Ensure fair, transparent, and measurable performance evaluations.
  • Link performance outcomes with variable pay, recognition, and promotions.

Project Coordination (as required)

  • Act as a

    Project Coordinator

    for HR-linked or cross-functional initiatives.
  • Support planning, tracking, and execution of special HR projects or organizational initiatives.
  • Collaborate with delivery and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of HR–business aligned projects.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Design competitive compensation and benefits structures.
  • Manage payroll, statutory compliance, incentives, and performance variable payouts.
  • Benchmark salary structures against industry standards to support retention.


Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 12+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, compliance frameworks, PMS, and T&D.
  • Experience in IT/Technology services preferred.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
