Position Overview:

Head


Key Responsibilities:

  • Event and Exhibition Production Leadership

    : Oversee all aspects of event and exhibition production, from concept to execution, ensuring that events meet client objectives, branding requirements, and deadlines.
  • Team Management

    : Lead and mentor a team of event managers, production coordinators, designers, and technical staff to deliver exceptional event experiences. Allocate resources and tasks effectively to ensure smooth operations.
  • Project Management

    : Plan, execute, and manage production timelines, budgets, and resources for events and exhibitions, ensuring timely delivery and within allocated budgets.
  • Vendor and Supplier Coordination

    : Manage relationships with key vendors, suppliers, and contractors, ensuring high-quality deliverables and cost-effective solutions.
  • Creative Vision

    : Collaborate with the creative team to develop innovative and impactful event designs, layouts, and overall production aesthetics. Ensure alignment with client vision and branding guidelines.
  • Logistics and Operations

    : Oversee all logistics related to event setups, technical requirements (audio, visual, lighting, etc.), and on-site operations, ensuring flawless execution.
  • Client Interaction

    : Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, managing expectations, providing regular updates, and ensuring satisfaction with event production.
  • Budget Management

    : Develop detailed event production budgets, track expenses, and manage costs efficiently without compromising on quality.
  • On-Site Event Management

    : Oversee the on-site execution of events and exhibitions, ensuring all aspects run smoothly, troubleshooting any issues that arise, and ensuring a high-quality guest experience.
  • Post-Event Evaluation

    : Conduct post-event debriefings to assess success, learn from challenges, and incorporate feedback into future events.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education

    : Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Production or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications in event production or project management is a plus.
  • Experience

    : Minimum of 15 years of experience in event production, with at least 10+ years in a leadership role managing large-scale events, exhibitions, and public engagements. Experience working with government clients or PSUs is a significant advantage.


Skills

  • Strong knowledge of event production logistics, exhibition setup, and technical requirements.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional project management skills with a proven track record of delivering events on time and within budget.
  • Expertise in vendor and supplier management, negotiations, and building long-term relationships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to manage budgets effectively.
  • Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Experience working on government events or public-sector exhibitions.
  • Knowledge of cutting-edge event technologies (e.g., virtual events, hybrid events, 3D visualizations).
