Location: Sanand, Gujarat Role: Head of Electrode – Process Engineering About the Role: As the Head of Electrode – Process Engineering , you will: Develop and deploy electrode equipment & factory designs for global expansion Evaluate technology pipelines and industrialize new manufacturing processes Oversee commissioning, ramp-up & deployment of next-gen slurry mixing tech Establish best-in-class manufacturing standards & process improvements Lead R&D projects & cross-functional collaborations Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of a high-growth, innovation-driven industry! Responsibilities: Lead the organization responsible for delivering electrode equipment and factory designs for global expansion projects. Evaluate technology pipelines and industrialize new processes to deliver cost-effective factory designs. Prepare and build teams for local deployment through commissioning, Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and ramp-up. Collaborate closely with Cell Design, Automation, and Construction Engineering teams to execute detailed designs for slurry mixing and coating equipment processes. Approve equipment drawings, establish and execute acceptance protocols, and design procedures. Develop next-generation slurry mixing technology and coordinate research projects. Release technical specifications and coordinate design reviews for slurry mixing, powder handling, and coating process equipment. Establish and develop manufacturing standards for A/B/C-sample production, including improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) metrics and lean production. Install and commission slurry mixing equipment to expand pilot line capabilities. Collaborate with automation and controls, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) teams, and execute SAT protocols. Essential Skills: Proven leadership in engineering team management and project delivery Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Expertise in manufacturing engineering and process optimization Proficiency with CAD, CFD, and other engineering software Excellent communication and leadership abilities Experience with data analysis tools Knowledge of lean production and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) metrics Experience in equipment design and commissioning, including SAT protocols Qualification: Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
