WHAT YOU OFFER US
We are seeking a Creative Automation Leader to architect and operationalize end-to-end automation across all production studios — Digital, Motion, Print, and Life Sciences.
This is a strategic transformation role that combines technical depth, creative process intelligence, and leadership maturity.
The selected leader will design, deploy, and scale automation frameworks that accelerate production, reduce manual dependencies, and improve accuracy — while preparing the organization for AI-assisted design and delivery in the near future.
You will own the automation charter for the Global Delivery Center — connecting creative tools, data systems, and workflows into an intelligent production ecosystem.
key roles and responsibilities
1. Automation Strategy & Framework Design
- Define and execute the automation roadmap for all media types — banners, HTML5, motion graphics, video edits, social content, print adaptation and life-sciences materials.
- Identify repetitive, manual, or rule-based production activities suitable for automation (resizing, localization, formatting, versioning, template-driven adaptations, QC and delivery routing).
- Develop scalable automation frameworks using APIs, scripts, and plug-ins across design and production tools.
- Establish an Automation Center of Excellence (CoE) — consolidating standards, templates, governance, and best practices across studios.
2. Toolchain Engineering & Integration
- Lead the integration of creative and production tools (Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, After Effects, Google Web Designer, Workfront, Monday.com, etc.) with automation platforms.
- Build custom scripts, plug-ins, and connectors to streamline workflows — e.g., batch exporting, automated asset versioning, pre-flight validation, and adaptive layout generation.
- Work with IT and data teams to connect creative systems to DAMs, CMS, PIM, and API endpoints, ensuring seamless metadata flow.
- Explore and pilot AI-assisted tools (Adobe Firefly, Runway, Sora, Midjourney, ChatGPT, etc.) where they can augment automated pipelines without compromising creative quality.
3. Process Re-engineering Across Studios
- Re-map production workflows across digital, print, motion and life-sciences to identify automation leverage points.
- Automate asset ingestion, versioning, QC and delivery steps to remove latency and manual checks.
- Implement automated brief parsing, template selection and job routing logic within workflow tools.
- Build a modular template and component library that supports rapid adaptation across formats and languages.
- Partner with operations and regional delivery teams to embed automation in everyday processes and client onboarding.
4. Technical Governance & Measurement
- Establish automation KPIs linked to time saved, error reduction and cycle-time improvements.
- Create dashboards that measure automation adoption, ROI and performance impact.
- Implement secure and compliant automation frameworks aligned with brand, data and regional regulations.
- Ensure version control, audit trails, and fallback mechanisms for critical production tasks.
5. Capability Building & Evangelism
- Train production teams and engineers on automation tools, scripts and workflows.
- Run internal “Automation Labs” to crowdsource new use cases and promote innovation.
- Build cross-functional collaboration with global studios, IT and creative technology teams.
- Influence leadership on automation adoption roadmaps and change management planning.
GREAT TO HAVE:
- 12–20 years of experience in creative production technology, workflow automation, or digital operations within a global advertising, marketing, or media organization.
- Strong proficiency in automation scripting and tool integration, using: Adobe Extend Script / CEP panels; JavaScript, Python, Node.js, or similar; Figma APIs / plug-ins; After Effects / Premiere scripting
- Workfront Fusion, Zapier, or Make (Integromat)
- Deep understanding of production workflows across digital, motion, print, and life-sciences media.
- Proven ability to deploy automation at scale — from pilot to enterprise rollout.
- Familiarity with AI-based creative and content tools and ability to identify where AI can complement automation.
- Strong stakeholder management, project governance, and communication skills.
- Comfortable working with global cross-functional teams and influencing senior creative and operations leaders.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience building or leading a Creative Automation Center of Excellence (CoE).
- Exposure to MarTech / AdTech ecosystems, workflow orchestration, and data pipelines.
- Understanding of prompt engineering or AI model integration within creative pipelines.
- Prior experience in large-scale content production automation (localization, DAM/CMS, campaign deployment).
