They have multilocational, profitable, and growing operations and ambitious growth plans. Our clients seek an accomplished Pharma API Manufacturing Operations Leader to take ownership of the P&L and Operations of all the plants Pan-India, including Production, QC, projects, safety, regulatory, and supply chain. Must have strong strategic & operational experience. The position is based in Hyderabad. Will be expected to drive initiatives to transform the plant into a "Future-Ready" and Modern Business setup. Ideal candidates must demonstrate high initiative, ownership, and integrity and possess a strong entrepreneurial drive and vision. Job Role The incumbent will oversee all aspects of the manufacturing processes for the API production units and ensure the highest standards of quality, efficiency, cost leadership and compliance at all the manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, exceptional leadership skills, and a strong commitment to operational excellence. Candidate Profile 1.B.Tech degree in Chemical Engineering with 20 -25 years of experience managing single large or multiple API facilities, with at least 10 years in a leadership role. 2. Proven experience driving manufacturing excellence, cost leadership and quality initiatives with knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean methodologies. 3. Knowledge and experience of Peptides fermentation is highly desirable 4. Strong liaison skills with PCB, Director of Factories, Drug Control Authorities, etc 5 . Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and quality standards (cGMP, FDA, MHRA, TGA, WHO- Geneva, etc) with experience of having completed multiple agency audits. 6. Experience in scale-up and tech transfer, managing pilot plants during tenure. 7 . Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. The position is expected to be closed in the next 4 weeks.
