Purpose/Objective


    The Head - Network & Growth Management - MUL is responsible for driving the strategic expansion, reliability, and optimization of the power distribution network to support increasing industrial demand within MPSEZ Utilities Limited The role oversees infrastructure development, network planning, and maintenance of HT, LT, and EHV systems while ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational standards. It strengthens grid resilience by implementing advanced maintenance strategies, optimizing load distribution, and ensuring seamless integration of new connections. Additionally, the role fosters stakeholder collaboration, drives efficiency in power distribution, and ensures sustainable network growth to meet future energy needs.

Key Responsibilities of Role


    Head - Network & Growth Management-MUL Network Expansion and Infrastructure Development: Architect a future-ready network by formulating and executing long-term expansion strategies, ensuring scalable and resilient grid infrastructure. Drive strategic investments in transmission and distribution networks, substation upgrades, and EHV/HT/LT system enhancements to accommodate evolving energy demands. Lead modernization initiatives by integrating smart grid solutions, automation, and advanced metering infrastructure to enhance efficiency and reliability. Grid Reliability and Operational Excellence: Spearhead robust maintenance frameworks to ensure high network availability, asset longevity, and proactive grid health monitoring. Optimize grid performance by implementing predictive maintenance technologies, enhancing fault detection, and governing outage restoration strategies through data-driven insights. Influence operational best practices by embedding automation and AI-driven monitoring for real-time diagnostics & asset life assessment and swift issue resolution. Technology-Driven Grid Automation: Champion SCADA-driven digital transformation, leveraging AI, IoT, and automation for seamless grid control, performance monitoring, and fault prediction. Influence industry-leading asset management approaches by integrating predictive analytics, automated fault response, and intelligent energy distribution. Future-proof network infrastructure by spearheading the adoption of next-generation technologies, ensuring a self-healing, intelligent power grid. Govern Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure 100% compliance with electricity regulations, grid codes, and safety standards by establishing strong governance frameworks. Mitigate operational and regulatory risks by embedding structured audit mechanisms, governing risk management strategies, and enforcing sustainability policies. Align network expansion strategies with national energy policies, ensuring regulatory adherence while championing sustainability and industry best practices. Cost Optimization and Financial Planning: Architect capital investment strategies to balance infrastructure growth with cost efficiency, ensuring optimized resource allocation. Qualifications and Experience


    Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (mandatory) in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Energy Management, or a related field. Master’s degree (preferred) in Power Engineering, Energy Systems, Business Administration (MBA), or Infrastructure Management Work Experience (Range of years): 15–20 years of experience in power distribution, network expansion, infrastructure development, or utility operations. Extensive expertise in grid modernization, transmission & distribution (T&D) planning, and automation technologies (SCADA, IoT, AI-driven analytics).
