Job Description

The Head of Interior Design will be responsible for leading and managing all interior design activities for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. This role requires expertise in design conceptualization, material selection, vendor management, and project execution while ensuring alignment with the companys vision and budgetary constraints. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills to manage design teams, oversee project execution, and maintain high-quality standards. Role & responsibilities Develop and implement interior design strategies aligned with the companys vision and project goals. Lead the creation of innovative and functional interior design concepts for clubhouses, common areas, lobbies, residential & commercial spaces, and hospitality projects. Review and finalize mood boards, design presentations, and material specifications. Ensure all designs meet aesthetic, functional, and sustainability standards. Oversee the execution of interior design projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality and timeline adherence. Coordinate with architects, consultants, and engineering teams to align interior designs with architectural plans. Ensure all interior designs comply with GFCs (Good for Construction drawings) and regulatory requirements. Supervise periodic site visits to ensure work is being executed as per the approved designs. Provide design detailing and execution methodology to contractors for high-quality finishing and durability. Setup the systems, process & people under ID department. Get 3D view done for interior design made with respect to selected material for presentation & understanding to engineering section. Quantity estimation & work done certifications at site visits. Major assignment of world villa, Gymkhana, Hotel to be taken as top priority Method of interior to be detailed to contractors for long life & best finishing wok Periodic supervision at site to see whether the architectural works are being carried out as per the GFCs. Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing interior design team. Establish and standardize interior design processes, material selection guidelines, and quality control measures. Stay updated on industry trends, innovative materials, and new design technologies. Ensure seamless coordination with vendors, contractors, and suppliers for timely material procurement and execution. Providing all Technical help for other Internal departments. Skills Required: • Creative vision and the ability to conceptualize luxury and contemporary interior spaces. • Strong project management & leadership skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously. • Excellent stakeholder communication and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams. • Budgeting, cost control, and negotiation skills for vendor and contract management. Qualifications & Experience: • Bachelors/Masters degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field. • 18+ years of experience in luxury residential, commercial, or hospitality interior design. • Expertise in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Visualization, and material selection
