Job Description

The Head Sales is responsible for achieving the Sales targets for the company by developing and leading strategic sales. This includes driving revenue growth, managing a high-performing sales team and fostering relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the industrial sector. The role requires a strong understanding of industrial products, market dynamics and sales leadership to achieve the companys growth objectives. Key Responsibilities and duties: a) Develop and implement the overall sales strategy for the industrial segment to achieve business goals b) Set annual sales targets, KPIs and revenue objectives, ensuring alignment with the companys overall vision and strategy. c) Identify emerging markets, customer needs and industry trends to capture new opportunities. Team Management a) Build, lead and mentor a team of managers and representatives. b) Conduct performance reviews, provide training and foster a culture of accountability and high performance. c) Develop succession plans and ensure the sales team has the tools and resources needed to excel. Sales and Business Development a) Establish and maintain relationships with major industrial clients, ensuring long-term partnerships. b) Oversee negotiations for large-scale deals and contracts with high-value clients. c) Monitor market conditions and competitors to adjust strategies proactively d) Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product development teams to align sales strategies with product offerings and customer needs. Financial Management a) Prepare and manage the sales divisions budget, ensuring profitability. b) Analyze sales performance metrics, forecasting and pipeline management to ensure revenue growth. c) Drive cost-efficiency initiatives while maximizing sales outcomes. Qualification: B.E., (Mechanical) mandatory, MBA or other equivalent is an add-on Experience: 20 25 years in Engineering Industries preferably in Transmission and Gear box industry Role: Team Leader role Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive B2B industrial market. The candidate must have a background in industrial gearbox manufacturing experience
