Head Enviornment, Health & Safety at M3 Grade

Qualification:

B. Tech. / BE Degree with at least 60% marks and Diploma in Industrial Safety from a recognized University / Institution OR B. Tech / BE in Environment or Health & Safety with 60% marks

Experience:

Minimum 08 Years of post-qualification executive experience in the relevant area as on date of advertisement

Maximum Age:

Up to 45 years as on date of advertisement

• Shall be responsible for development of environment protection standards and supervise adherence of those.
• Responsible for getting requisite approvals from various Government departments on aspects of environment, health and safety.
• Ensure successful completion of energy, quality and EHS audits and certifications of power generation activities both during implementation and O&M phases.
• Shall be responsible for training and development on quality and EHS aspect, across functions.
• Shall be responsible for monitoring the statutory compliance, safety inspection, accident handling & reporting and MIS related to EHS aspects
• Shall be responsible of implementation of Integrated Management system( ISO9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018)
• Shall be developing SOPs, Presentations and data management system
• Shall be custodian for compliance of requirements of different acts and norms regarding EHS matters.
• Shall be responsible of fling returns to different authorities regarding EHS matters
• Represent OTPC on various industry forums on aspects of quality and EHS.
• Shall be responsible for handling all EHS related matter with O&M and all other contractors & associates working with OTPC plant.

Required Profile:

• Shall have worked as EHS In-charge in a power plant of more than 100MW
• Shall have experience of implementing the quality / EHS systems in a Power Plant and adequate knowledge of contract management
• Should have a good mix of technical knowledge, people management skills and drive and commitment
• Shall have good communication and Inter-personnel skills
• NEBOSH certification desirable but not mandatory
• Science Graduate with one year Diploma in Industrial Safety with minimum 12 years of post-qualification experience may also be considered in exceptional cases. In such cases, Diploma in Industrial Safety is a must.
