Experience Required:

✔ 18+ years in Mechanical Design

✔ Minimum 5–7 years in a Design Head / Leadership role

✔ Experience in pharmaceutical machinery manufacturing is preferred

Qualifications:

🎓 BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Role Overview

This is a senior leadership position responsible for guiding the Design & Development team, managing end-to-end product design, and engineering next-generation pharma machinery, including Tablet Compression Machines. The role requires strong command over CAD tools, design principles, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:-

Design & Development

• Lead the engineering team in designing new and improved pharmaceutical machinery (Solid Dosage / Tablet Press Machines).
• Oversee the entire design lifecycle—concept, prototyping, testing, validation, and production.

Technical & Process Leadership

• Define design standards, guidelines, and best practices for machinery, tooling, and processes.
• Conduct design reviews and provide mentorship to the design team.
• Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with manufacturing, quality assurance, electrical, and automation teams.
• Liaise with clients to understand requirements and convert them into innovative machine designs.

CAD & Documentation

• Utilize CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Solid Edge) to create and manage 2D & 3D models.
• Prepare detailed design documentation, user manuals, and specifications.

Problem Solving

• Troubleshoot design challenges and develop effective solutions.
• Ensure the machine meets performance, safety, and quality standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Expertise in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Solid Edge, or similar CAD platforms.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-moving environment.
• Experience in pharmaceutical machinery manufacturing is a strong advantage.
