Job Description

As a Cook at this company, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of foods for regular meals, special guests, or functions. In addition to this, your role will involve reviewing and adjusting kitchen systems and procedures for optimal efficiency. You will have the opportunity to develop new menus and recipes while ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and flavor. Compliance with food handling, sanitation standards, laws, and regulations will be a key part of your responsibilities. It is essential to maintain proper food handling and temperature control and implement brand safety standards. Your role will also involve supervising kitchen operations, maintaining food storage standards, and ensuring compliance with Food & Beverage policies. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook a variety of foods for regular meals, special guests, or functions - Review and adjust kitchen systems and procedures - Develop new menus and recipes based on standards or artistic contributions - Ensure high quality food products, presentations, and flavor - Maintain compliance with food handling, sanitation standards, laws, and regulations - Supervise kitchen shift operations and ensure compliance with all Food & Beverage policies - Maintain purchasing, receiving, and food storage standards - Operate and maintain department equipment and report malfunctions - Support procedures for food & beverage portion and waste controls - Implement environmentally friendly processes and procedures for food preparation, energy use, and waste management - Check the quality of raw and cooked food products to meet standards - Assist in determining food presentation and create decorative food displays Qualifications Required: - Knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques - Understanding of food safety standards and regulations - Strong communication and teamwork skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Prior experience in a kitchen or food service role is preferred Please send your CV to thevrindavaninn@gmail.com or contact us at 97606422198 to apply for this full-time, fresher position.
