Job Description

Responsible for College Canteen Operations in Ashoka University. The menu includes morning Breakfast items, snacks, small bites, and late-night food. The university already has 4/5 canteens other than the Major meal buffets. This is a new canteen planned to start by mid-August. Responsibilities include: Follow recipes and cook as per order. Plan and prepare special weekly menus to attract students. Maintain standards in food preparation through following Written Recipes. Manage a team of chefs and an order taker to run operations smoothly. Regularly train and improve the quality and skills of team members to improve food quality & service. Maintain food cost at the planned level to maintain profitability. Monitor daily sales and take the correct steps to meet the monthly target shared by the management. Maintain the raw material stocks with the help of the Petpooja inventory module. Prepare lists of items to order as daily perishables and weekly for groceries, and the rest of the items. Use Petpooja POS to generate various reports and share them with the management on a timely basis. Act as one point of contact with the Management to run the outlet.
