Currently, it is expanding in a big way in the Solar Power space undertaking ground-mounted and rooftop projects ranging from 5 MWp to 150 MWp. Headquartered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat the company is currently undertaking projects within Gujarat and Maharashtra. Further getting ready to expand in the nearby states of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, AP, Telangana etc. Website: www.dmgel.in Job location: Ahmedabad Reports to: Director Sales Educational Qualification: Any Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field. MBA preferred *MBA in Marketing or Finance will be an added advantage. Skill set & Experience : Minimum of 8+ years of experience in sales & marketing field preferably from the renewable energy sector with 4-6 years in leadership role. ● In-depth knowledge of the renewable energy and business models. ● Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. ● Strong negotiation and relationship-building capabilities. ● Ability to lead and develop high-performing teams. ● Strategic mind-set with hands-on execution ability. ● Excellent communication and client & stakeholder management skills. ● Knowledge of industry best practices, regulations, and emerging trends Key Responsibilities: Strategic Business Planning: Deliver BD strategies that align with corporate goals and market trends. Develop and execute strategies for expanding the company’s presence India & Globally using various business models. eg. PPA, CAPEX, OPEX, RESCO etc. Open Access. Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Identify emerging trends, regulatory changes, and competitive positioning in the renewable energy sector. Should be able to review Govt. Tenders & work further on the same. Sales & Revenue Generation: Lead business development efforts to achieve revenue targets, negotiate contracts, and secure long-term partnerships Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with technical, procurement, legal, and project teams to ensure seamless execution of business strategies Stakeholder & Client Relationship Management: Serve as a primary representative of the organization in engagements with C-level executives of client organizations and senior government stakeholders, including Class-1 officials. Regulatory Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Ensure adherence to industry regulations, legal frameworks, and risk management protocols. Should have fair amount of knowledge about various Govt. policies (Central & State) Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead cross-functional teams, including finance, engineering, and legal, to ensure seamless execution of business strategies. Performance Metrics & Monitoring: Establish and track KPIs including lead-to-sale ratio, revenue growth from new clients, and partner performance metrics. Provide monthly reports to leadership on business pipeline, risks, and forecast.
