Job Description

Role & Responsibilities

Oversee daily hatchery operations including incubation, hatching, and sanitation.
Maintain temperature, humidity, and ventilation in incubators.
Enforce biosecurity, hygiene, and vaccination schedules.
Supervise hatchery workers and allocate daily tasks.
Maintain egg/chick inventory, hatch rates, mortality logs, and medicine usage records.
Coordinate procurement of eggs, feed, medicines, and equipment.
Train staff on hatchery SOPs and safety.
Ensure quality control and compliance with animal welfare standards.

Qualifications & Experience

10th/12th pass minimum; Diploma/degree in Animal Husbandry preferred.
2–5 years experience in hatchery/poultry operations.
Knowledge of incubation cycles, embryology, and chick management.
Supervisory and record-keeping skills.
Ability to work odd/long hours when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
