Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hardware Project Lead to spearhead the development of cutting-edge digital electronic systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in microcontroller and microprocessor-based hardware design, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. Experience with high-power rectifiers or inverters for EV or related applications is highly desirable. Responsibilities: Lead the full lifecycle of hardware development projects, from concept to production, including requirements gathering, design, prototyping, testing, and validation. Design and develop microcontroller and microprocessor-based digital electronic circuits, including schematics, PCB layouts, and firmware interfacing. Select and evaluate electronic components, ensuring optimal performance and cost-effectiveness. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of hardware prototypes, utilizing oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other test equipment. Collaborate with firmware engineers, software developers, and other team members to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior hardware engineers. If applicable, design and implement high-power rectifier and inverter circuits, ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards. Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve design quality. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in digital electronics and related technologies. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in hardware design, with a focus on microcontroller and microprocessor-based systems. Strong proficiency in digital circuit design, including schematic capture and PCB layout using industry-standard tools (e.g., Altium Designer, KiCad, Eagle). Extensive experience with microcontrollers and microprocessors (e.g., NXP, TI, STM etc). Solid understanding of digital communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART). Experience with hardware debugging and testing using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other test equipment. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high-power rectifier and inverter design for EV segment. Knowledge of power electronics principles and applications. Experience with embedded firmware development. Experience with regulatory compliance testing (e.g. EMC, safety). Interested?
