Job Description

A Hardware and Networking Engineer designs, implements, and maintains computer networks, ensuring smooth data communication and system integrity. They handle hardware, software, and network infrastructure, troubleshooting issues and implementing security measures. This role requires expertise in network protocols, hardware troubleshooting, and security best practices. Key Responsibilities: Network Design and Implementation: Planning and implementing network architecture, including designing and configuring network devices like routers, . switches, and firewalls. Hardware Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Maintaining and repairing network hardware, identifying and resolving hardware and software issues, and replacing faulty components. Network Security: Implementing and maintaining network security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and security policies. Network Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitoring network performance, identifying bottlenecks, and optimizing network performance for efficiency and speed. Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Troubleshooting network issues, diagnosing problems, and implementing solutions to ensure network uptime and stability. Documentation and Record Keeping: Documenting network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for future reference. Staying Current with Technology: Keeping up with the latest network technologies and industry trends to improve network performance and security. Required Skills: Networking Knowledge: Strong understanding of network protocols, technologies, and architectures. Hardware Expertise: Knowledge of network hardware components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers. Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve network issues, including hardware and software problems. .
