Job Description

As a Data Centre Technician, your role will involve a comprehensive understanding of computer hardware, CCTV, software, and electrical systems. You will be responsible for identifying potential issues in system configurations, testing hardware components, and analyzing system data to make necessary changes to hardware configurations. Your key responsibilities will include: - Overseeing the installation and maintenance of equipment - Testing data centre servers and networks post-installation, highlighting issues, and ensuring resolution - Conducting system security, data backup, and redundant storage activities - Configuring data centre servers and data networks as per design requirements - Performing periodic functional testing of applications for smooth operations - Documenting current system specifications, bugs, defects, and strategies for resolution - Improving the efficiency of current networks - Installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment such as routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS, and DHCP - Configuring firewalls, routing, and switching to enhance network efficiency and security - Maximizing network performance through continuous monitoring, troubleshooting, and arranging scheduled upgrades - Investigating network faults and updating network equipment with the latest firmware releases Qualifications Required: - Higher Secondary (12th Pass) is required - 1 year of total work experience is preferred Please note that this is a full-time position with day shift schedules and benefits including health insurance and performance bonuses.
