In this role, you will meet with clients/sales team to understand design requirements and space constraints. You will create 2D layouts and convert them into 3D modular kitchen & wardrobe designs. Additionally, you will develop design concepts, material finishes, and color combinations as per client preferences. Your responsibilities will also include preparing presentations, renders, and walkthroughs for client approvals. It will be your duty to ensure designs are functional, cost-effective, and feasible for production. You will need to coordinate with the production/technical team for drawings and execution. Updating and revising designs as per client feedback or technical requirements will also fall under your purview. Furthermore, staying updated on the latest design trends, finishes, and hardware in modular furniture will be crucial. Qualifications required for this role include a Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, or equivalent is essential. Knowledge of modular kitchen standards, materials, and hardware fittings is also necessary. A strong sense of aesthetics, space planning, and detailing will be beneficial in this role. Good communication and presentation skills are also required.
