📍 Location : Thane, Mumbai (Remote/Hybrid) 💼 Compensation Structure : Founding team role with long-term ownership incentives ⏳ Commitment : Part-time initially → Full-time post MVP/funding 🚧 Stage : Early-stage startup (currently building MVP) ⚡ About the Role We’re building smart digital kiosks for retail, tourism, public spaces, and interactive advertising. We're looking for a hands-on hardware enthusiast to join the founding team and lead the product's physical and electronics development. If you're excited about building something real from scratch, collaborating with software and design teams, and scaling hardware toward production this is your playground. 🧠 What You’ll Do Lead hardware and electronics development for our digital kiosk product Source and integrate displays, computing units, power systems, sensors, cooling, mounts Collaborate with designers and fabricators to develop enclosures and structure Manage power systems, wiring, thermal design, and safety measures Own prototyping, field testing, iteration, and optimization cycles Explore smart integrations: QR, NFC, biometrics, cameras, audio, etc. Prepare the hardware stack for pre-manufacturing and scalability ✅ What We’re Looking For Background in Electronics, Embedded Systems, or Mechatronics Hands-on experience with Raspberry Pi, touch displays, sensors, or kiosk-related hardware Understanding of power design, thermal safety, circuit integration, and wiring Comfortable sourcing parts, coordinating with vendors, and rapid prototyping Experience in DIY projects, hardware hackathons, or startup environments is a plus Most importantly you love building tech that exists in the real world 🎯 What You’ll Gain Founding team status with significant equity and long-term ownership Full creative control over the hardware direction Active support in design, software, vendor networks, and prototyping The rare opportunity to build India’s own display and kiosk tech from scratch 📩 How to Apply Please share: A brief introduction Projects you've worked on (links appreciated) Why this role excites you LinkedIn / GitHub / Portfolio Your availability 📧 Email : ishanraut@bigmiles.in, prachipawar@bigmiles.in Show more Show less
