Hardware Board Design Engineer, Sr Lead

Role Overview: As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, designing, optimizing, verifying, and testing electronic systems. Your role will involve working on a wide range of systems including circuits, mechanical systems, FPGA, and/or DSP systems to launch cutting-edge products. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Solid understanding of Electronics engineering fundamentals and PCB manufacturing process - Proficiency in Mixed-signal and RF circuit analysis techniques - Knowledge of RF & Mixed Signal PCB design, test board debug, and CAD software such as Mentor Graphics DA or Cadence Allegro - Understanding of Si-Pi for board designs and experience with simulation tools like HFSS, ADS, Power SI - Familiarity with RF & Digital measurement techniques including S-parameters, TDRs, Eye analysis, jitter, isolation, etc. - Proficient in ASIC device level characterization with system-level knowledge being a plus - Comfortable working with lab equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, Digitizer - Software skills for writing codes for automation using Python will be advantageous Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or related field - Experience in hardware engineering with a focus on RF & Mixed Signal PCB design and testing - Proficiency in using CAD software for hardware design - Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills - Ability to work effectively with local and global teams (Note: No additional details about the company are mentioned in the provided job description),
