Roles & Responsibilities Consultant Gynecologist

• Conduct routine gynecological check-ups and consultations.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of female reproductive health issues (e.g., menstrual disorders, infertility, PCOS).
• Provide prenatal, antenatal, and postnatal care.
• Monitor high-risk pregnancies and manage labor and delivery.
• Perform gynecological surgeries (e.g., hysterectomy, laparoscopy, cesarean sections).
• Provide minimally invasive treatment options when appropriate.
• Advise and provide family planning solutions (e.g., contraceptive methods).
• Counsel patients on reproductive health and related concerns.
• Manage gynecological emergencies such as ectopic pregnancies, ovarian cyst rupture, etc.
• Provide immediate care in case of complications during pregnancy or labor.
• Educate patients on reproductive health, preventive care, and lifestyle adjustments.
• Promote awareness on conditions like breast cancer, cervical cancer, and menopause.
• Work closely with other medical professionals (pediatricians, surgeons, etc.) for comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings for complex cases.
• Maintain accurate patient records, treatment plans, and follow-up schedules.
• Ensure adherence to medical ethics and confidentiality standards.
  

Preferred candidate profile

• MS (Obstetrics & Gynecology)

  or

  DGO

  (Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynecology) from a recognized medical institution.

• Rajasthan Medical Council

  (RMC) registration (or ability to obtain it).
• Fellowship or additional training in areas such as

  laparoscopy

  ,

  high-risk obstetrics

  , or

  infertility treatment

  is a plus.

• 0 to 3 years

  of experience in

  Obstetrics & Gynecology

• Hands-on experience in

  normal and caesarean deliveries
