Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care to patients in the Gynecology and Obstetrics departments.
Assist doctors during normal deliveries, C-sections, and DMO (medical termination of pregnancy) procedures.
Monitor and record patients’ vital signs before, during, and after procedures.
Manage OPD and IPD patients, ensuring timely medication and comfort.
Assist in sample collection and maintaining proper labeling and documentation.
Prepare and maintain delivery rooms, procedure rooms, and postnatal wards.
Educate mothers on postnatal care, breastfeeding, hygiene, and newborn handling.
Maintain sterilization of equipment and ensure infection control practices are followed.
Coordinate with the gynecology team and maintain proper handover between shifts.

Eligibility Criteria:

Education: GNM / B.Sc. Nursing or equivalent qualification from a recognized institute.
Experience: Minimum 4–5 years of experience in gynecology and obstetrics nursing, including labor room and OT exposure.
Skills & Attributes:
Strong understanding of gynecology procedures, normal and C-section deliveries.
Experience in IPD and OPD management.
Knowledge of DMO procedures, postnatal care, and emergency handling.
Good communication and patient counseling skills.
Comfortable working in rotational shifts, including night duties.

Working Conditions:

Full-time role with rotational shifts (morning, evening, night).
Involves direct interaction with patients and doctors in delivery and gyne wards.
Exposure to clinical environments and infection control areas.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
