Job Description of Gym Equipment Designer Job Title: Gym Equipment Designer Location: Rohtak, Haryana Experience: 5+ Years in Gym Equipment Design Salary: Up to ₹5 LPA (Negotiable for the right candidate) Industry: Fitness Equipment / Manufacturing Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Gym Equipment Designer to join our dynamic team in Rohtak. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing strength training and cardio equipment, ensuring high standards of ergonomics, functionality, and safety. The role involves developing new products and improving existing ones using CAD and other design software. Key Responsibilities: Conceptualize and design gym and fitness equipment (strength and cardio machines). Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD tools like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar. Collaborate with product development and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective. Select appropriate materials and components for design durability and performance. Conduct research on fitness trends, biomechanics, and ergonomic standards. Perform design iterations and improvements based on feedback and testing. Ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturing regulations. Assist in prototyping and provide support during production trials. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related field. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in gym/fitness equipment design. Strong proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.). Good understanding of material properties, mechanical systems, and human ergonomics.
