Job Description

Automation Test Engineer with expertise in Selenium and Katalon Studio to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the automation testing efforts and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. You will work closely with our quality assurance and development teams to create and implement robust automated test cases that ensure seamless software functionality. Key Responsibilities: Design and Develop Test Cases: Create, develop, and implement automated test cases in Katalon Studio to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Collaborate with QA Teams: Work hand-in-hand with the quality assurance team to understand requirements and design effective automated tests accordingly. Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentoring to the automation testing team, ensuring best practices are followed. Automation Script Development: Write and maintain high-quality automated test scripts using Katalon Studio . Test Automation Best Practices: Drive the adoption of test automation best practices, including peer code reviews, script optimization, and efficient test design. Defect Reporting: Analyze test results, promptly report defects, and collaborate with the development team for quick issue resolution. Issue Troubleshooting: Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues in a timely manner. Team Mentoring: Mentor junior team members in automation testing techniques, best practices, and efficient test script creation. Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in test automation, applying them as appropriate to enhance testing processes. Process Improvement: Actively participate in team meetings and contribute suggestions to improve the software development and testing process. Qualifications: Proven experience in Selenium and Katalon Studio for automation testing. Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies. Experience with API testing , performance testing , and other test automation tools is a plus. Ability to write efficient, maintainable test scripts. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. Prior experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members is an advantage. Guidewire Testing Experience and P&C is preferred
