Job Title: GW PC Configuration Developer with Policy Management Transformation (PMT) Knowledge Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration Developer with a strong background in Policy Management Transformation (PMT) . The ideal candidate will have expertise in configuring Guidewire PolicyCenter (PC) and leveraging PMT to drive transformation initiatives in the policy management domain. This role requires hands-on development skills to configure and customize PolicyCenter to meet evolving business needs, with a focus on transforming policy management processes. The successful candidate will work closely with business analysts, solution architects, and other developers to ensure seamless integration and transformation of policy management processes. Key Responsibilities: Guidewire PolicyCenter (PC) Configuration : Configure and customize Guidewire PolicyCenter based on business requirements, ensuring alignment with overall system architecture and business goals. Implement and configure policy types, product models, workflows, rules, and forms in PolicyCenter. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into PolicyCenter configurations. Policy Management Transformation (PMT) : Utilize Policy Management Transformation (PMT) knowledge to drive initiatives aimed at transforming policy management processes and systems. Design and configure solutions that enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of policy lifecycle management, improving the overall policy administration process. Assist with the implementation of policy management transformation strategies, working closely with business and technical stakeholders. Collaborate with Stakeholders : Work closely with business analysts, architects, and product owners to gather requirements and understand business needs. Actively participate in meetings with clients and stakeholders to ensure that technical solutions align with business objectives. Communicate effectively with both business and technical teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects. Testing & Quality Assurance : Perform unit testing and work with QA teams to ensure that all configurations are functioning as expected. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues during development and testing phases. Documentation & Reporting : Document technical configurations and processes, ensuring clear and concise specifications. Prepare progress reports and provide updates on ongoing projects to stakeholders. Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive initiatives that optimize the configuration and transformation of policy management systems. Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in Guidewire PolicyCenter and policy management transformation. Mandatory Skills: Guidewire PolicyCenter (PC) Configuration : Proven experience in configuring Guidewire PolicyCenter, including product models, workflows, policy types, rules, and forms. Strong understanding of the PolicyCenter architecture and configuration processes. Policy Management Transformation (PMT) Knowledge : Expertise in Policy Management Transformation (PMT) methodologies and how to apply them in a Guidewire PolicyCenter environment. Experience in transforming legacy policy management systems and processes into modernized, efficient solutions using Guidewire PolicyCenter. P&C Insurance Domain Knowledge : Solid understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance products and commercial lines, such as General Liability, Workers Compensation, Commercial Property, and Commercial Auto. Familiarity with the policy lifecycle and processes in P&C insurance. Development & Testing : Hands-on experience with configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions. Ability to work collaboratively with QA teams to ensure high-quality solutions. Communication Skills : Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with business stakeholders, technical teams, and clients. Ability to document configuration details and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Nice to Have Skills: Guidewire Integration Experience : Familiarity with Guidewire integration frameworks (such as GOSU, Guidewire Studio) and experience in integrating PolicyCenter with other systems. Additional Guidewire Products Knowledge : Experience with other Guidewire products like ClaimCenter or BillingCenter is a plus. Agile/Scrum Methodology : Experience working in Agile environments, with knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies for software development. Experience with ISO Commercial Lines : Familiarity with ISO standards and products for commercial lines in the insurance domain. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). years of experience in configuring Guidewire PolicyCenter (PC). Experience in Policy Management Transformation (PMT) in a P&C insurance environment is a must. Strong track record of delivering successful Guidewire implementations or transformation projects. Relevant Guidewire certifications (e. g. , Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration) are a plus. ",
