Guidewire Claim Center developer

As a Guidewire Claim Center Developer at our organization, you will play a critical role in providing tailored solutions within the claims management domain using the Guidewire software suite. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining Guidewire ClaimCenter applications, gathering and analyzing business requirements, implementing best practices in coding and software development, collaborating with QA teams, troubleshooting and resolving issues, and participating in agile ceremonies. Additionally, you will work on integration solutions, create technical documentation and user guides, monitor system performance, and assist in training users on new features and system functionalities. Your role will also involve staying current with the latest Guidewire releases, mentoring junior developers, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain Guidewire ClaimCenter applications - Gather and analyze business requirements to design effective solutions - Implement best practices in coding and software development - Collaborate with QA teams to ensure robust testing of solutions - Develop integration solutions between ClaimCenter and other business applications - Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the ClaimCenter environment - Create technical documentation and user guides - Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning - Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards - Work with stakeholders to gather feedback and improve systems - Monitor system performance and optimize as needed - Assist in training users on new features and system functionalities - Stay current with the latest Guidewire releases and updates - Mentor junior developers and share knowledge within the team - Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field - Proven experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter development - Strong programming skills in Java - Experience with SQL databases (Oracle, MS SQL) - Knowledge of web services (SOAP, REST) - Familiarity with agile development methodologies - Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle - Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN) - Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines - Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency - Proactive in identifying issues and proposing solutions - Willingness to continue learning and adapting to new technologies,
