🧑💻 Growth & Marketing at Nila
We're building Nila to help families across the world care for their loved ones back home. With strong early demand, our growth function is rapidly expanding and social media + influencer marketing play a critical role in how families discover and trust us.As our Social Media Marketing person, you'll work closely with the Growth team to shape how Nila shows up across social channels, generate leads and focus on Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Substack. This role blends creativity, content, influencer engagement, and operational excellence. You will gain deeper exposure to how growth actually works in a lean, fast-moving startup.If you're passionate about digital storytelling, love working with creators, and want to be part of building something meaningful from the ground up, this is for you.
🛠️ What You'll DoInfluencer Outreach & CRM
- Support influencer outreach across Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Substack
- Maintain and update our Influencer CRM (responses, status, performance, follow-ups)
- Coordinate creator deliverables, timelines, posting windows, and post-campaign reporting
- Research new creators aligned with Nila's brand, tone, and diaspora audience
- Assist with outreach templates, partnerships drafts, and negotiation follow-ups
Content Creation & Scheduling
- Draft and edit content for IG/FB/LinkedIn/Substack (posts, reels, captions, stories)
- Create content (basic editing, ideation, storyboarding)
- Build and maintain the weekly posting calendar
- Repurpose long-form 1-3 min videos into short-form reels
- Manage cross-platform posting, tags, metadata, and uploads
Growth & Performance Support (added tasks)
- Assist in analysing campaign performance: reach, engagement, CTR, conversions
- Help experiment with new growth channels (Substack, YouTube Shorts, WhatsApp broadcast, etc.)
- Support early A/B testing of creatives, thumbnails, CTAs, and messaging
- Conduct competitor and market landscape research for South Asian diaspora content
- Identify viral trends and translate them into Nila-relevant formats
- Help build Nila's storytelling engine through community insights, comments, and DMs
- Collaborate with the Growth Lead on initiatives like referral programs, user stories, and partnerships
Administrative & Operational Support
- Organize campaign assets and internal documents
- Assist with growth dashboards, spreadsheets, and weekly reporting
- Support ad-hoc tasks across Growth and Marketing
🔍 What We're Looking For
- Passion for social media, creators, and digital storytelling
- Understands growth, go to market, and community
- Strong written communication and an eye for detail
- Deep familiarity with IG/YT trends, formats, and diaspora content
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple moving pieces
- Comfortable working independently and in a fast-paced environment
- Bonus: Basic editing skills (CapCut, Canva, Premiere, etc.)
