The Tech Lead/Sr. Tech Lead - Design Automation and AI will work as part of a Research and Development team to architect and support the development of software tools and methodologies that automate the design process of Actuation Technologies products. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining software tools and methodologies that enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the design process. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial products and expertise in AI technologies applied to industrial automation. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing software tools and methodologies to automate the design process, debugging and troubleshooting to ensure compliance with design requirements, and developing documentation for these tools. Staying informed about industry trends in design automation is crucial to continuously improving the tools. Minimum qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. As the Global Purchasing Executive, your role will involve ensuring Material Availability at Plants by achieving a 94% Request Date Service Level (RDSL) and managing Inventory as per IO guidelines to support World Area Manufacturing Sites (WAMS). In this role, your responsibilities will include planning and issuing Purchase Orders to suppliers, collaborating for on-time direct shipments to WAMS, calibrating and distributing global forecasts to suppliers, and publishing global delivery performance to suppliers.
