The Product Writer / Editor is responsible for creating, editing, and optimizing compelling, accurate, and user-centric content that clearly communicates product value, features, and usability. This includes product descriptions, feature pages, release notes, user guides, help documentation, onboarding materials, and marketing content. The role requires close collaboration with product managers, designers, developers, and marketing teams to ensure the product's voice is consistent, engaging, and aligned with the brand. Key Responsibilities Product Content Creation Write clear, concise, and accurate content for product pages, in-app UI, tooltips, release notes, and feature highlights. Editing & Quality Control Edit and proofread content for tone, grammar, accuracy, and brand consistency. User Documentation Develop and maintain user guides, how-tos, FAQs, knowledge base articles. Collaboration with Product & Design Work with cross-functional teams to understand features, value propositions, and product flows. Content Optimization & UX Writing Apply UX writing best practices to improve user understanding, conversion, and retention. Content Style Guide Adherence Ensure all content follows internal style guides and tone of voice. Content Localization Support Coordinate with translators or local teams for multilingual content (if applicable). Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Technical Writing, Marketing, or a related field. 5+ years of experience writing for Blockchain FinTech or SaaS products, with a portfolio showcasing product-focused content. Strong editing skills, with attention to tone, structure, clarity, and grammar. Familiarity with UX principles and Agile product development processes. Experience with documentation platforms and CMS systems. Knowledge of SEO and accessibility best practices is an advantage. Familiarity with localization and internationalization workflows is a plus.
