Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer is responsible for collaborating with the team to create visually compelling designs across digital and print media. This role involves developing marketing materials, digital graphics, promotional material, and other creative content while collaborating with cross-functional teams to align visuals with business objectives.

Working Days - Monday - Friday

Work Timing - 7.30am - 4.30pm

Work Location - Goregaon E (Nesco)

Candidate living within 15km radius will be considered.

Scope

• To provide a range of visual solutions and marketing materials for promotions across all Sodexo Australia segments including remote sites.
• Following various brand guidelines and working from established design that will require monthly, quarterly or annual updates.
• Contribute brainstorming sessions and collaborate on new creative strategies.
• Develop original design concepts and ideas for campaigns, product visuals, and marketing materials beaded on briefs and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Follow usability principles for all digital and physical design projects.
• Demonstrate design excellence in both applications.
• Gather internal clients’ requirements for design projects and follow internal briefs from the Marketing team.
• Present design solutions as they pertain to marketing objectives while justifying design direction.
• Create graphic layout and design concepts using standard design software.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent design and implementation of brand guidelines across platforms.
• Design and improve layouts for multiplatform content initiatives.
• Conduct internal oral presentations on graphic design concepts to the Marketing and Brands & Comms team.
• Responsibility for the design of a range of marketing/promotional materials and literature across the business to include (but not exclusively) Posters, flyers, Menus, Brochures, Banners, PR materials, digital screen, app tiles, etc.
• Ensure all brands’ standards are maintained and that materials produced are in line with the brand guidelines and are consistent in design.
• Ensure that material produced is in line with Sodexo communications strategy and has all appropriate disclaimers and copyright marks.
• Ensure the accuracy of all material produced including proof reading and setting up process to ensure sign-off is obtained.
• Interpretation of design briefs from various stakeholders across the business.
• Development of debrief one-pagers to share the summary of the complete projects.
• Work within set timeframes that are in line with original brief.
• Manage key relationships with key stakeholders, marketing, brands & comms and retail team.
• To be responsible for adhering to the health, safety, environmental and quality standards, policies and procedures and for proactively acting in a manner that supports a healthy and safe work environment, including the reporting of all incidents and hazards.

Qualifications

Formal qualifications in Graphic Design.

Required Skills

• 5 years' experience in Graphic Designing
• Ability through portfolio to demonstrate excellent graphic design skills and creativity.
• Ability to work from a brief, brand guide and established artwork.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English with ability to work closely with the rest of the marketing team.
• Adobe Creative Suite (Intermediate) Working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• Adobe Illustrator (Intermediate).
• Adobe InDesign (Intermediate).
• Adobe Photoshop (Intermediate).
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
• Online Graphic Design Software (Intermediate) such as Canva and Adobe Express.
• Microsoft Office Suite (Intermediate).

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Food & Facilities Management industry (desired)
