Job Description

Executive Grants funding Weare looking for a Grants funding Executive, who will be responsible foridentifying, researching, and securing grant funds that align with theorganisationbusiness objectives. The role involves identifying relevantfunding sources, developing compelling grant proposals, cultivatingrelationships with donors and reporting on the impact of the funded projects. Key Responsibilities: Grant Prospecting Research: Identifypotential donors, grantmakers and funding agencies aligned with theorganizations business verticals and strategic goals. Conductthorough research on grant guidelines, eligibility criteria, fundingpriorities, and deadlines. Maintaina grant opportunity tracking system to ensure timely submission ofapplications. Identifyemerging funding trends and recommend new grant opportunities. Grant Proposal Development Submission: Draftpersuasive and well-structured grant proposals, including narratives outliningprogram impact, budget plans, and evaluation frameworks. Customizeeach grant proposal to meet the specific requirements and priorities of thefunding organization. Ensurethat all proposals are well-organized, concise, and submitted within deadlines. Collaboratewith internal teams to gather necessary data, financials, and supportingdocuments for applications. Relationship Management Compliance: Buildand maintain strong relationships with Grantmakers, donors, and fundingagencies through regular engagement, meetings, and networking. Provideperiodic updates to funders on program progress, outcomes, and impact. Preparetimely and accurate grant reports detailing program activities, results, andfinancial expenditures. Monitorgrant agreements to ensure compliance with funder requirements andorganizational policies. Addressfunder queries, provide necessary clarifications, and facilitate externalaudits as required. Data Management Analysis: Maintaindetailed and up-to-date records of grant applications, proposals, awards, andreports in the donor database. Trackand analyse grant performance metrics to refine future grant-seekingstrategies. Prepareperiodic reports on funding progress, success rates, and areas for improvement. Cross-functional Collaboration: Workclosely with business vertical teams to ensure alignment of grant objectiveswith organizational needs. Assistin developing project budgets and financial reports for grant applications. Supportin preparing presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders. Required Skills Qualifications: Education: BachelororMasterdegree in Public policy, Development or Environmental studies, SocialSciences, Business Administration, or related fields. Experience: 1-2 years ofexperience in grant proposal creation, fundraising for not-for-profits orproject funding preferably in the waste management or sustainability domain. Understandingof social impact programs, budgeting, and program evaluation frameworks. Strongresearch skills to identify and evaluate grant opportunities. Strongwriting and communication skills to develop compelling proposals and reports. Detail-orientedwith the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and funderrequirements. Proficiencyin using donor databases, CRM systems, and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Abilityto work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Experience: Preferprior experience in the waste management, sustainability, or environmentalsector. Familiaritywith corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives or fundraising frominternational donors
