About the Role The Volunteer and Visitor Facilitation Officer will serve as the primary point of contact (PoC) between Grameen First Eco-Business Foundation and its visitors, volunteers, trip organizers, and well-wishers. This role is central to creating a meaningful and professional experience for both local and international guests, ensuring that their time with us is well-planned, impactful, and memorable. The Officer will ensure a smooth and well-executed experience for the visitors and guests. The Officer will manage pre-planning, orientation, and facilitation of visits, oversee any activities conducted by the volunteers, and also manage the ‘Mokhada Social Stays’ program in Kalwa and Mokhada, and ensure proper communication and follow-up. The Officer must be fully capable of working within the company's MIS system and should be proficient enough to improve and kaizen the system with the assistance of the senior management. Job Role / Responsibilities Coordinate the end-to-end process of hosting local and international volunteers/visitors. Prepare itineraries, schedules, and logistics to ensure smooth visits. Coordinate with project leaders for planning visitor involvement in our projects. Organize welcome banners and any PR materials. Support preparation for any project-related activities. Ensure the availability of required materials for activities. Arranging Airport pick-ups to local transportation, hotel bookings, and overseeing the readiness of the organization’s guest houses, to the facilitation of their visitor experiences, which includes all local compliances and fulfilment of regulations. Get quotations for stay, travel, food, etc, and submit to the finance team. Create a Food Plan for the visitors based on their requirements. Introduce visitors to organizational activities and guide them through planned schedules. Translate conversations and interactions between visitors, staff, and beneficiaries. Arrange for more translators if required. With the help of the project leaders, guide the volunteers and visitors in lesson planning and any other project activities. Maintain and regularly update the database of all visitors in the MIS system. Manage and oversee the Mokhada Social Stays program for visitors and volunteers. Ensure visitor comfort and safety while maintaining alignment with organizational values. Collect and record feedback to continually improve the Social Stays experience. Requirements Bachelor's degree in travel and tourism or any related field. Over 3 years of work experience. Strong communication skills, with fluency in English and Marathi (speaking and writing). Confident in public speaking and comfortable addressing groups of diverse backgrounds. People-person: friendly, approachable, and respectful in all interactions. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), email communication, basic database management, and the organization's MIS system. Comfortable with creating itineraries and schedules for visitors. Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with teams. Flexible with working hours as per project needs. Willing to travel and spend time escorting visitors to field centers and managing the ‘Mokhada Social Stays’ project in Mokhada. Duration : Full Time - 6 days a week (Monday - Saturday). Sunday could be working depending on the visitor and volunteer schedule. Compensation - Between Rs. to 40,000/- to 45,000/- depending on the candidate’s ability, drive & leadership.
