Graduate Engineer Trainee - PLC Programmer / SCADA / Instrumentation

Job Description

As a Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) specializing in PLC Programming, SCADA, and Instrumentation, you will be responsible for assisting in control system design, programming, and implementation. You will work closely with project engineers and managers to develop industrial automation solutions while gaining hands-on experience in PLC programming, SCADA development, and instrumentation. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement Control Logic (Ladder, Function Block Diagram (FBD), etc.). Develop SCADA/HMI screens as per Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID). Create and maintain I/O databases for automation systems. Support project engineers and managers in preparing engineering documentation. Assist in commissioning activities for industrial automation projects. Coordinate with vendors for component sourcing and technical discussions. Work on basic instrumentation related to pressure, flow, and volume measurements. Gain proficiency in using PLC and SCADA platforms (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Emerson, Delta, etc.). Understand and implement timers, counters, and relays in control logic. Stay updated with the latest trends in industrial automation and control systems.
