Job Description - Graduate Engineer Trainee ( GET ) BD About the Role: We are seeking a Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) - Sales to join our dynamic team at Pump Academy Private Limited. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing bid proposals, building and maintaining client relationships, and assisting in business development activities. You will work closely with the sales team to prepare proposals, manage customer accounts, and support corporate branding strategies. This role requires strong communication, technical, and sales skills, along with a proactive approach to customer engagement. To study and analyze the Technical and financial credentials of bid proposals. To evaluate the compliance of bid proposals with project specifications and financial requirements 2. Customer Building and retaining client relationships through continuous Meeting, follow-up with clients for their requirements. Assist in developing corporate brand strategy. 3. Internal Process/Operations To handle corporate presentations, documents, proposals, and managing the expectations of the customers along with the Sales development team to create effective solutions. Identifying, developing, and maintaining new accounts through cold calling, referrals, and securing appointments with potential clients. Assisting with proposals and tender responses to prospective customers and discussions with them concerning the ways in which the packages can be used to meet their requirements. Setting and organizing face-to-face appointments with Key Account Managers for new business. To manage a small base of accounts and generate additional revenue through unified communication. To actively visit the clients when required. Coordinates all activities related to client events. Assists with the preparation of development agreements. To maintain current customer account information in the database. To maintain detailed records and prepares communications as needed. 4. Learning & Development To assist and help in framing knowledge management on Business Development. 5. Technical Knowledge Gain a basic understanding of pumps, motors, and related technologies to support product discussions. Learn how to explain the features and benefits of technical products to customers. 6. Communication Skills Clearly communicate the advantages and technical aspects of products to potential clients. Listen actively to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions. 7. Sales Skills Develop persuasive skills to effectively sell products and close deals. Confidently present products and negotiate with prospective clients. 8. Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty. Provide excellent service to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business. 9. Problem-Solving Understand customer issues and recommend suitable technical solutions. Respond quickly to client concerns and questions, offering effective solutions. 10. Adaptability Show willingness to learn new technologies and sales techniques as needed. Be flexible in handling diverse customer requirements and adapting to different market conditions.
