Role & responsibilities Project Planning & Design: Assist in developing project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget. Construction Management: Support the construction team in managing resources, materials, and timelines. Site Supervision: Monitor construction progress, ensuring adherence to plans and specifications. Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure project quality meets standards. Safety Compliance: Ensure projects adhere to safety standards, environmental regulations, and building codes. Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation of project activities. Types of Projects You Might Work On: Residential Buildings: High-rise apartments, villas, and other residential projects. Infrastructure Projects: Roads, bridges, tunnels, and other infrastructure projects. Maintenance and Repair Projects: Overseeing the execution of maintenance and repair projects. Billing/Contracts/Purchase: Assisting in billing, contracts and purchase of materials required for projects. Quantity Surveying: Assisting in preparing the bill of quantities required for the project. Planning: Assisting in monitoring the plans, tracking the deviations and coordinating with different departments to close the gaps. Technical Assistant: Work as a technical assistant to the GM Projects for coordinating all day to day operations. Preferred candidate profile BE Civil Engineer with at least 60% marks Collaboration: Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and construction professionals. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues that may arise during construction. Skills to Develop: Technical Skills: Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Projects. Primavera) Soft Skills: Excellent communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and organizational skills are crucial. Knowledge of Building Codes and Regulations: Familiarity with relevant building codes and safety regulations is essential.
