Job Overview: The Government Tender Manager will be responsible for managing the tendering process for government projects within the Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) sector. This role involves strategic planning, coordination, and submission of bids to secure government contracts. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, a thorough understanding of PEB construction, and an ability to foster relationships with government agencies. Key Responsibilities: Tender Management: Lead and manage the entire tendering process for government contracts, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Analyze tender documents and specifications to prepare comprehensive bid proposals. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement bidding strategies to enhance the company s competitiveness in government projects. Monitor and assess market trends and competitor activities related to government tenders. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and finance to gather necessary information for bids. Liaise with government officials and stakeholders to clarify project requirements and build strong relationships. Documentation and Compliance: Ensure all submitted tenders meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with governmental regulations. Maintain accurate records of all tender submissions and associated correspondence. Post-Tender Activities: Assist in contract negotiations and award processes following successful bids. Conduct post-tender analysis to identify areas for improvement in future submissions. Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in tender management, particularly in the construction or PEB industry. Strong understanding of government procurement processes and regulations. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in tender management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines. Preferred Skills: Experience with sustainable building practices and green certifications. Familiarity with project management methodologies.
